Beach House Inn guest reviews, from TripAdvisor:

Dog Friendly and Casual Atmosphere – July, 2014     Beach House Inn is a great find for those who travel with their dogs and for those who are looking for a more relaxed, casual environment. Their friendly staff was eager to help with dog friendly restaurant ideas. The room was large with a fireplace and kitchen. There is no breakfast included in the price, but they do offer free coffee in the mornings. The beds were clean and comfortable with a ceiling fan above. There was no A/C in the room, but the fans were helpful. Location is close to the beach and walking distance to the train station through a neighborhood of nice houses.”

Lovely! – June, 2014     “I was pleasantly surprised. The Beach House Inn is a dog friendly property that is VERY clean too. I didn’t think that was possible. When I first walked into our room I expected the typical “dog smell” but instead found it to be odor free and spotless to boot. Believe me – I looked closely and found nothing to complain about…nothing. The owners are lovely and welcoming. The morning coffee is hot and in abundant supply – YAY! We loved sitting in the courtyard in the morning – enjoying our coffee and the beautiful setting. This isn’t fancy…but it is clean and comfortable. It’s the only place we’ll stay at in Santa Barbara….”

Zen and Beautiful – May, 2014     Spent the weekend at the beach house inn with my sister and our doggies for a girls weekend getaway. It was perfect. From the moment we checked in till the moment we left Pam and her daughter made us feel right at home. The grounds were well kept and very quaint. Pam directed us to various places that were dog friendly. From the beach to restaurants to even wine tasting. The room was clean and comfortable. And the hotel was perfect walking distance to most things except the doggie beach. I would definitely stay here again!! It’s an absolute gem!!”

Welcome 4 legged Family Members – May, 2014     After calling many hotels trying to find where we could stay while traveling with two dogs, I chose this hotel because they were the most polite and friendly on the phone and the property looked lovely on the website. Upon arriving, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the staff actually WELCOME people traveling with pets, its not a burden at their hotel and the dog fee is very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area….”

Sweet Home Away From Home with Family Friendly Folks – April, 2014     This is a very nice, easy to find treasure, walking distance to train with an extra discount provided for travelers without a car!… The rooms were spacious and clean, beds comfy and well appointed. The fireplace added a hominess not found in the bigger chains…”

We’ll Definitely Be Coming Back – March, 2014     “We stayed in room 6 which is one of the apartments and it was very clean and spacious. There is a large kitchen, living room, and bedroom. The courtyard is adorable and very inviting. The management is very nice and informative about activities in the city. I would definitely recommend this to others and will stay here again in the future. It is dog friendly and is in walking distance to the park and beach.”

Hospitable, Comfortable Lodging… and Pet Friendly! – January, 2014     The three nights we spent here were ideal… we had our King Charles Spaniel and two young granddaughters. We could not have picked a better place. Location was perfect, accommodations were excellent, staff was super friendly. We will definitely return!”

But you don’t have to go anywhere because everything you need for your comfort is available on site. The rooms are all very well equipped and up to date. The staff makes you feel like you are part of the family. They do a phenomenal job making sure that you have everything you need to feel at home. Our dog is on the first name basis with them!”

Lovely Little Place – September, 2013     “Charming little place, warm and welcoming. Had a very nice sized roomed, clean and comfortable. Very well located for the beach and the town center, all within a very easy walk. Good Wi-Fi provided free, coffee in the mornings, relaxing garden area, helpful staff. Great place for a quiet weekend away. We’d go back.”

Welcoming and Relaxing – June, 2013     “Quaint and welcoming, the Beach House Inn was the perfect spot for our visit to Santa Barbara. The rooms are large, have great amenities and very clean. Its quiet and very close to the beach – you can walk to just about everything. They are very accommodating to those traveling with dogs – which is very appreciated by those of us who prefer to vacation with our pups. The owners / staff were very friendly and helpful – especially in directing us to dog friendly places to eat – hike – etc. Would definitely come back!”

Great Weekend in Santa Barbara – May, 2013     “Just spent a wonderful weekend in this charming place and comfortable place. We stayed in room #5 and had a lovely king size room and pull out sofa in the living room. The kitchen and dining-area are spacious and well equipped. You are only two blocks from the beach, and walking distance to downtown.”

Santa Barbara’s Secret Charmer April, 2013     “Perfect vibe, great location and clean accomodations make Beach House Inn #1 in my book. The scenary really is amazing. Morning coffee in the courtyard and afternoon choice of free movies/DVD’s for movie night w/ a friend are just a few of my favorite memories :)”

Beach House Inn ReviewDecember, 2012     “Clean, comfortable and convenient … who could ask for more? The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs; Pam and Sandra were especially helpful. If you’re looking for a nice quiet getaway w/ Fido, this is the place to stay. There’s a city park less than a block away that’s great for you and the dog.”

Peace and Quiet by the Beach – November, 2012     “Our new favorite place for our dogs and us. Restful! We will be back. The Beach House is our new home away from home. Wonderfully Californian, charmingly English. Love the gas fire in the rooms and every amenity is provided for you.”

A Happy, Bright Spot in Beautiful Santa Barbara – August, 2012                                                                       “… From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. Everyone was really friendly and gave us some EXCELLENT recommendations for dining in the area. Our 2-bedroom family suite was perfect and the girls really appreciated each having their own bed rather than having to share. The inn is very convenient and once we arrived, we parked the car in the inn’s lot and walked and/or rode bikes everywhere.”

Conveniently Located, Wonderful Escape – May, 2012     “…The staff were friendly and helpful, we could walk from the inn to the harbor, and it felt more like staying at a good friend’s home for the weekend than at a sterile hotel.”

Pawfection! Delightful Place for Dogs. – April, 2012     “This inn is a true gem in Santa Barbara! The service is terrific and the rooms are perfect! The rooms are newly redone and very tastefully decorated. The beds are comfy, the flat screen TV is great, and the cleanliness impeccable! Rooms are large enough for two plus two big dogs… Definitely will recommend to friends and we will visit again.”

Will Definitely Return to the Beach House Inn – February, 2012     “Was so impressed with the Beach House Inn! Located in a very quiet neighborhood yet only two blocks from the beach and a short walk to State Street and all the activities/shops/restaurants there. Lovely courtyard in which to relax outside. Our rooms were immaculately cleaned, very comfortable, cozy with the lovely fireplace, perfect with a kitchenette. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again!”
